Seven Counties Services is committed to research that advances knowledge and practice in the areas of mental health, intellectual disabilities, and substance abuse.
Our internal procedure establishes two tracks depending on the level of research being conducted: A preliminary review by one committee member or a full evaluation. A full evaluation requires two independent reviews of your submission proposal by committee members who are trained to examine proposals for methodological soundness; safety and protection of the rights of our consumers and staff; and compliance with all HIPAA regulations. The approval process usually takes about three weeks.
