Seven Counties Services is the largest behavioral health organization in our region serving over 34,000 people each year. Through individualized and compassionate programs we help people living with mental illness, substance use disorders and those with developmental disabilities live their best lives. We recently opened a youth drop-in center in Metro Louisville, TAYLRD is a place where young adults 16-25 can drop in, work on job applications, school work, socialize, talk to other peers their age and work toward realizing their dreams of independence.
Since opening TAYLRD in December we have identified over 500 identified homeless young adults living in Metro Louisville- 500!! ONE is too many! Young people have dreams! They have goals! They want to contribute to the common good! They want to become successful adults! But there are barriers … so many barriers. That’s why we are asking our Community to support Seven Counties and TAYLRD’s Project 1625 during Give Local Louisville on September 15th. Donations to TAYRLD Project 1625 will help us help these young adults get the services they need; whether it’s a hot meal, a counseling session, help completing their GED courses or simply a place to come to get off the streets for a bit. Donations will help us get rid of the barriers!
Give Local Louisville
On September 15th, Seven Counties Services is taking part Give Local Louisville, our community’s biggest day of local giving. Organized by the Community Foundation of Louisville, Give Local Louisville is an opportunity for us and hundreds of other nonprofits in the Greater Louisville area to take part in 24 hours of online charitable giving.
Last year through Give Local Louisville, 362 participating nonprofits raised an astounding $3 million in 24 hours. We were able to be a part of that momentum; with the help of generous donors like you, we were able to raise Seven Counties Services to support our mission. This year, we hope to do even more. And with hundreds of nonprofits participating, we can’t help but create significant momentum throughout the community!
During Give Local Louisville, the Community Foundation of Louisville and its partners will maximize the community’s generosity with Golden Tickets, prizes, and bonus dollars. We hope to use this as an opportunity to engage our current donors in a new and exciting way and to attract new donors to our important mission of Seven Counties Services.

After Give Local Louisville, stick around and Join us for a FREE outdoor concert at 4th Street Live to continue to bring awareness to this often overlooked population. Our FREE outdoor concert features DAYA, NAPPY ROOTS, JO JO and AMPED. Stop by your favorite 4th Street Live restaurant and round up your bill or add $16.25 to your total and that will be donated directly to Project 1625.
