Terry Meiners has made us laugh and cringe for years, and now it’s time for us to return the favor! Purchase Tickets Here. Join us on Thursday, March 3, 2016 as Seven Counties Services presents our inaugural Roast & Toast with the guest of honor, Terry Meiners.

Mental illness is no laughing matter. So we hope you will support our quest to bring mental health into the limelight with a bit of laughter mixed with real stories from real people to create awareness. One in four adults and one in five children are affected by mental illness, making it more prevalent than cancer, diabetes, or heart disease combined. Treatments are available, but nearly two-thirds of people with a known mental disorder never seek help from a health professional. Stigma, discrimination, and neglect prevent care and treatment from reaching people with mental disorders. It’s time for that to change!

This year’s roast is dedicated to the memory of Mike Kremer, a 19 year employee of Seven Counties and long-time friend of Terry’s. Mike developed the Waller Therapeutic Program, a partnership with Jefferson County Public Schools, as well as the Acute Child Psychiatric Program; both of which serve numerous school age children in our community every year. Mike dedicated his life to serving others; bringing peace and joy into the countless lives he touched with his gentle spirit and sense of humor. In memory of Mike Kremer, proceeds from the event will benefit our Child and Family Services division at Seven Counties.
